Overhearing

I’m at Starbucks overhearing an interesting conversation between a résumé consultant and a guy looking for work. It’s amazing! She (consultant) is talking my language, advising him on font, layout, content, LinkedIn, interview, preparedness. Going though about 200 résumés over the last 6 months, this stuff is important. I never understood how difficult it is to find qualified/great workers. So many people don’t even get an offer to interview.

My Maggie is so cute and smiley lately! She is at such a fun age! This week she decided to wake at 4:00am. That was fun… Great daddy daughter bonding times!

It has been fun to work on the design for our 50th year here at Scottsdale Bible Church! The celebration begins in January 2012!

Kids had some friends over to play tonight. I’m thankful they are able to connect with new people. They certainly miss all of their friends in mt. holly springs (as do I) but this helps them all the more.
By the time this picture was taken. They had been playing/swimming hard for three hours. Break time!
